UpWise Privacy Policy
Effective date: 22 June 2026. This policy explains the information UpWise uses to run school learning workflows.
1. Information we may process
UpWise may process account details, school and class details, student login identifiers, uploaded source material, teacher notes, generated activities, classroom session data, responses, scores, badges, XP, evidence, and contact form messages.
2. Why we use it
We use information to provide sign-in, school-managed access, source storage, AI-assisted drafting, teacher review, live classroom sessions, home practice, results, support, demos, quotes, and product communication.
3. Student data
Student access is intended to be managed by schools and teachers. UpWise should not require students to create unmanaged personal accounts for classroom use. Schools decide what student information they enter and how activities are assigned.
4. Source files and generated content
Uploaded teaching material may be stored in object storage and used to draft activities. Teachers remain responsible for reviewing any AI-assisted output before students see it.
5. Cookies and local storage
UpWise uses essential cookies for authentication and security, and local storage for preferences such as theme, navigation state, and cookie acknowledgement. See the Cookie Policy.
6. Sharing
We do not sell student data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, and AI features.
7. Contact
